The Sea Ranch is located on California's North Coast, about three hours north of San Francisco, on scenic Highway 1.   The FitzGerald home is less than a hundred yards from the water's edge, on a south-facing part  of the coast.  It offers a panoramic view that extends from the Pacific (southwest), across a large open meadow that is home to several deer (west), and the forest-covered coastal mountains to the northwest. The presence of a large dense hedgerow isolates the home from residences to the north east.  Located just feet from the costal bluff trailhead, the home provides the opportunity to explore miles of the coast, with an abundance of wildlife, tide pools, beaches, and spectacular views.  Each room, as well as the deck and hot tub, faces southwest, providing views of the setting sun over the Pacific and the meadow.
